REVIEWS
Aaron and Donna of Paton Construction Ltd - "Uptown conducted a Tree Survey and Arboricultural Impact Assessment for our machinery store planning application at the paddock at the Hermand Estate. They really understood the impact of the trees on the development and provided mitigation and protection measures to satisfy the planners and allowed them to grant our consent."
Steven & Wendy, Wardie, Edinburgh -
"Uptown carried out a Tree Survey, Arboricultural Impact Assessment and Landscape layout for our new extension and garden. The large site lies within a conservation area and the planning application process is necessarily more complicated. Uptown understood the impact of the trees on the steeply sloping site and proposed protection such as fencing and ground matting over root areas to minimise damage to the remaining trees. Their communication and service was excellent"

Sam Smithers, Nixon Blue Developments-
As Architects and developers we have commissioned Uptown on our Beith Street project. This is for 48 flatted dwellings on a site in Glasgow's west end. The site has many mature trees and Uptown have worked with us to provide Arboricultural Impact Assessments(AIA) and Tree Protection Plans (TPP) in fulfilment of our planning conditions. Uptown's principal ,Ronnie Park CMLI Landscape Architect has been appointed as the project Arboriculturalist to oversee and inspect the ongoing building works and report on the fulfilment of the tree protection obligations. Ronnie has helped with our ongoing communication with the Glasgow City Planners and their tree advisers to ensure no delays have occurred due to issues with onsite trees.
